Read MoreWelcome to the Night Raven newsletter, released quarterly with the seasonal equinoxes and solstices.
The birth of this newsletter came at a time of my own birth-day and I can look back at over 30 years of devotion to supporting the health and well-being of Self, Others and Earth. My love and passion for Life inspires all that I offer—herbal remedies, consultations and classes—and I thought that it is time to share a little more of what is behind the medicine that moves through me.
What is it to ReWild within our culture…to kindle the memory of our indigenous sou to engage with and care for All Beings as our kin and to discover the ecological niche we were born to inhabit?
How do we care for ourselves in perilous times? And isn’t it selfish to do so? When these questions come up during a holistic health consultation, I feel a pang in my heart as I know that our culture has conditioned us to believe that selfcare is selfish. Yet how can we care about our friends and families let alone the world when we are emotionally and physically depleted?
I have a special treat to share with you on this longest night and first day of winter…a full chapter from Annie Bloom’s memoir: Buffalo Dreamer. Please make yourself a cuppa tea and settle in for a cozy morning or evening as you receive the gift of Annie’s eloquent expression.
